Madeleine, who will turn 8 in March, was thoroughly frustrated Saturday because she wanted to come to the hospital to meet her sibling, but her sibling took too long to show up (see previous reference to 20-hour labor).
On Sunday, her mother Michelle brought a very excited Maddie to meet her little brother Ryan. She gently held him awhile in the rocking chair in our hospital room. She loved it and didn't want to leave. She called out "I love you Ryan!" as she left.
