Going to meet Sophia Grace

Hunter and I leave for Appleton, Wisc., tomorrow at the un-Godly hour of 6 a.m. Because our flight leaves so early, we're getting a hotel room near the airport. The best part is, the hotel has a continental breakfast that includes BISCUITS AND GRAVY, people, so you know my tummy will be happy. At least until we take off.

This is the first time in my adult life that I'll fly without taking Dramamine, so I'm a little concerned about that. I'll pack peppermints and water, but Hunter may be requesting a seat change. Just for him.

Here's the reason for this travel:

That's my mother-in-law, Patty, otherwise known as Mimi, holding Sophia Grace Pfund. Sophia is the first child of Hunter's sister, Julie, and we're all going to descend on the house to pinch her cheeks. I'm sure Julie will have no problem with that. Especially if Sophia's sleeping.

At the baby's baptism Sunday, I'll be wearing my first maternity dress, so we'll see how that goes. I think that this dress will be cute when I have more than a bump, but nothing else fits so that's that. Right now I think it looks a bit like a tent.

I'll post pictures later and y'all can vote. YEAH, that'll happen.

Have a great time in the Appleton area. That's where one of my good friends lived before moving to Portland a few years ago. Try the raspberry Leinenkugel's beer. It's like liquid candy.
