We shopped for Christmas gifts, sampled locally grown fruit and had lunch in the little cafe featured in Sleepless in Seattle where we checked out a cute red-headed waiter who was the second red-headed guy noticing us that week. Jeremy at Lowe's? Red-headed. Loved us. And then I remembered that I was pregnant and madly in love with my husband and realized the interest probably had less to do with "us" and more to do with Elizabeth.
When we weren't painting or running errands, Liz spent most of her time saying how much she loved the Pacific Northwest's temperate climate and couldn't wait to move here. By here, I mean moving into our fireplace.
