Pedal faster!

The nursery is taking shape thanks to Hunter's tireless hauling of stuff from here to there. He's been to Goodwill and Lowe's so often I'm sure he's greeted like Norm. We've sold the extra furniture that had no natural place in our new house, so all we have to do now is get rid of Maddie's Polly Pockets but I haven't come up with an alibi yet.

All this work led up to Sunday, which was a day of milestones. Hunter put together Maddie's crib for the Littlest George:





AND...

Maddie rode a two-wheeled bike for the first time.



Getting Maddie to ride by herself was a team effort, with Hunter doing most of the running around and me doing most of the yelling "Pedal! Pedal! Pedal faster!" After Hunter worked with her for quite awhile, I joined in and happened to give her the push that led her to ride alone for the first time. As I jogged beside her for several solo attempts, I imagined the Littlest George thinking, we don't normally move this way, I NEED SOME DRAMAMINE.
