I know the blog has been video-heavy of late, but when you see how active the LG has become, you'll understand that at the end of the day Hunter and I collapse in a heap. Sometimes we've considered just sleeping on the living room floor because the stairs seem too much to bear.
But, a quick update before the show:
He turned six months old on Saturday, the same day his dear father and my dear husband turned 41. At his checkup on Monday, Ryan weighed in at 17 pounds, 12 ounces. He's 26.5 inches long, and has a head that is 17.75 inches around. He's rocking the growth charts.
At that appointment, he got the last of the first round of immunizations: a shot in each thigh. He didn't cry. He puckered up a little, but that was it. The nurse said his fat rolls helped him not feel the shots. She says the nicest things!
Ryan's been eating solids for about a month. So far he's had carrots, avocados, peas, bananas, apples and squash. In a shocking development, he doesn't care for the vegetables. So we sneak in bites of them here and there while he's eating the sweet stuff.
He's a delight. He touches my face in the morning and when I pick him up from daycare, which I believe is his way to say "I love you." That's the extent of his gentle touches, as you'll soon see.

Keep the videos coming. I love them! I showed this one to Sophie and she pointed at the screen and laughed along with him.
The two babies will keep each other in stitches at the beach! He is such a big guy...just imagine how big he would be if he had figured out eating the first month!!!!!
