So he got up at 6:15 a.m.
And slept for 10 minutes in the car on the way to daycare, 20 minutes the entire day at daycare, and 35 minutes in the car on the way home. For those of you keeping score, that's 65 whole minutes of sleep in a 12 hour period when the LG usually gets four times that much.

Here's Ryan, not sleeping in his daycare crib
Learning to nap at daycare is gonna be a long haul. But because our LG is so charming and generally well-rested, he was a peach the entire day. Miss Julie, Miss Bernie and Miss Shannon said he was an absolute charmer, despite spitting up carrots and breastmilk over all three outfits I brought him. Hunter visited at lunchtime, when Ryan stared down the infant room screamer after that boy made another little girl cry.

Then he snuggled with his Daddy and couldn't stop smiling and giggling.

Ryan's a gamer.

Well, but at least he was happy!
Ryan sure looks like he's enjoying himself. He's already started on his life's journey outside the nest. But if home is always his refuge then he will love it all. Bet he becomes the "favorite" at daycare. Who doesn't love a smiler!
