So after we had a slightly fussy night, I napped with him this morning. Then I took a shower while he hung out in his cosleeper in the bathroom door. He likes the sound of water, and of my voice, so I sang and talked through the shower and he didn't cry a single time. Then he was awake and fussy for several hours, but after I fed him again he fell asleep and I'm blogging.

Tonight Hunter and I are meeting friends for congratulatory drinks (Hunter got a new job! I need to post on that at some point) and leaving the baby with Mom for a few hours. I'm nervous, not about leaving him but about being tired out by going somewhere. It's such a sad life right now.

Here are some more cute shots to make it easier for y'all to read about my baby blues:

Kathleen...it is perfectly normal to feel this way! I know that it may seem rough, but don't be afraid to ask for help. I had a pretty bad case of the baby blues after Max and I still see a therapist to this day! If you ever need to talk about how you are feeling with someone who felt "blue" too, please don't hesitate to call me...I'll send you my phone number via private email.
It will get better, I promise!
Remember there is a cure for the baby blues as close as a perscription tablet. Heck they will even fax it in. what a cutie and I love that he sleeps like Hunter...the acorm falling thing comes to mind....and i love it that he does cheers in his sleep. he did NOT get that head of hair from the Georges...
Hang in there...he's a cutie. And a box is on it's way. Shoe will be coming too!
