This photo was taken on Saturday, Dec. 27, when I was exactly 36 weeks. Hear that? That's the sound of me being VERY READY TO HAVE THIS BABY. And now that the LG is officially "to term," I'm giving him or her little (OK, a lot of loud) words of encouragement every day to join the outside world. I miss breathing normally and being able to avoid burping in front of people.
That same day we got a call from Babies R Us that our long-delayed glider has arrived. We took that as a good sign. I was beginning to be concerned that I'd be glider-less for the first few weeks of the LG's life, and I had become fixated on the idea that the glider would be the key to a happy baby. Now that the glider is actually in the neighborhood, I can become fixated on something else.
I have The Final To-Do List composed in my head, and today it will be transcribed to paper for completion immediately, if not sooner. Hunter can hardly wait.

Love the belly! Give it a rub from ROb and me - ok, maybe just from me cuz that might be weird - and Sophie sends a sloppy kiss. That's her new trick.
BTW - just be thankful you are no where near the enormity that I was!:-)
