The LG is 8 months and one week old, and we're hosed. He's a movin'.
Ryan often plays on our bedroom floor in the morning while Hunter and I get ready for work. He sits near the bathroom door so he can be on the carpet but still see us. He's been inch-worming it for several weeks, but there hasn't been speed involved.
This morning I was in the shower and Hunter was getting ready in the bedroom. In about two minutes Ryan made it from the doorway, across the bathroom floor, to the rug outside the shower. I know, because I heard a thump as he grabbed a new bottle of shower gel and started to drag it away. Also, there was Drano nearby. And some vodka. And dynamite.
Obviously we have some childproofing to do.
As luck would have it, our new china cabinet is arriving in two days, so we can put the glassware and nice dishes behind doors instead of on a bookshelf where they live now. I figure that gives us at least a week before he opens the doors and breaks our stuff anyway.

Both of my kids LOVED to play with the door stoppers and hear that noise!

Fun! The next cool thing will be the pots and pans and doesn't your trash can have a lid that you step on/push to make the lid go up and down? He will really love doing that. Has Hunter put him in the laundry basket yet and tooled him around? We have to Skype this weekend while Ryan is awake.
